Abhishek Sharma dispatched the first ball he faced for a sublime maximum over wide long-off during the ongoing game between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Mohammed Siraj was welcomed to the crease by a six by Abhishek after conceding a single on the first ball of the second innings.

It was an inswinging length delivery by Siraj, which Abhishek stepped out to smash for a maximum. He swung through the line to pummel the ball to the stands to get the run-chase going. The first over by Siraj yielded 15 runs, with Travis Head crunching a four on the fourth delivery of the over.
