Delhi Capitals (DC) opener KL Rahul went bonkers against the Gujarat Titans (GT) pacers in the ongoing Match 60 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to field first. The pitch suited the second batting team this year very well.
The South African pacer Kagiso Rabada came to bowl the last over of the powerplay. KL Rahul and Abishek Porel are the batters for DC at the crease. The second ball of the over was a short delivery from the right-arm pacer, and Rahul swivelled across by using the pace of the delivery. He pulled the ball over long leg for a cracking maximum.
Rabada bowled a length delivery, pitching it well outside off, but the right-handed batter drove it on the rise of the ball. Rahul sent it sailing over long-off for another maximum into the first tier of the stadium. At last, the final over of the powerplay went for 17 runs and ended up with 45 runs for the loss of one wicket in the end of six overs.

Axar Patel-led team are currently fifth in the points table with six wins and will aim to win the match in front of their home crowd to get closer to the playoffs spot.
On the other hand, the visitors GT are third in the points table with 16 points and aim to win the match to secure their spot in the playoffs. If GT wins the game, it will ensure a spot for PBKS and RCB in the playoffs.
