Nicholas Pooran responded to Mohammed Siraj's sledging in style during Match 64 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Right after Siraj hurled a few agitated words at the southpaw, Pooran responded by stroking a six and a four to conclude the over in style.

It all started on the fourth delivery of the 16th over. The ball had to be re-bowled due to it being called a wide for height. Siraj was visibly displeased with the decision and had a quiet word with Pooran before walking back. The next delivery was another attempted bouncer, which was missed. A few more words followed. The fifth and sixth balls were dispatched for 10 runs in total.

Pooran ended up unbeaten on 56 (27). His blazing innings comprised four fours and five sixes. However, the star of LSG's innings was Mitchell Marsh, as the Australian batting all-rounder hammered his way through to a stunning maiden IPL ton. As for the hosts, Arshad Khan (1/36 in three overs) and R Sai Kishore (1/34 in three overs) were the only ones to pick up wickets. Siraj (0/37 in four overs) was the most economical bowler for the Shubman Gill-led side.
