The ball was a touch short outside the off stump and Marsh picked the length early and dismissed the ball from his sight for an 80-metre maximum.

The shot came four balls after the first delivery of the game was dispatched for a boundary over covers to get the innings underway. Earlier in the evening, Cummins won the toss and put LSG in to bat first. This game serves as a do-or-die for the Rishabh Pant-led side. As for SRH, they were the third team to be eliminated from IPL 2025 and are merely playing for pride.
