[WATCH] IPL 2025: Sai Kishore dismisses Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya in successive overs

Sai Kishore struck in successive overs to get rid of Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya in alternating overs during Match 56 of IPL 2025 between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, May 6. Kishore's first two overs yielded no wickets with 18 runs conceded, but his second over saw him make an impressive comeback.

Suryakumar (35 off 24) was caught at long-off while attempting to go inside-out to a delivery which didn't really spin enough for the dynamic batter to get enough room to generate enough power. His fellow statesman, Shahrukh Khan, held onto a straightforward opportunity. Hardik (one off three) departed on the third delivery of Kishore's fourth over. He was caught by Shubman Gill at slip off a top edge post a wild slog across the line.

Kishore ended up with figures of 2/34 in his four-over spell. Captain Hardik's wicket also meant Mumbai lost half their side in the innings. Earlier in the evening, GT had won the toss and opted to bowl first. They were successful in sending Ryan Rickelton (two off two) and Rohit Sharma (seven off eight) within the powerplay.
