Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Tim David had a field day at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday, May 15, as he took a swim at the iconic venue amid heavy rain. While his teammates were seen rushing off the field, David decided to turn up in his shorts and take a swim on one of the covers that was drenched in water.

After the Australian batter returned to the dressing room, he was given a round of applause by some of his teammates, while others seemed surprised after seeing him all soaked up. RCB posted a video of David enjoying himself in the Bengaluru rain on their official social media handles.

David has been one of the best performers for RCB with the bat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He has scored 186 runs from eight innings at an average of 93 and a strike rate of 193.75.

RCB are all set to face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at home on Saturday, May 17, which marks the resumption of the IPL 2025. The defending champions need to win the fixture to keep their playoffs hopes alive.

Meanwhile, Rajat Patidar-led RCB will become the first team to qualify for the playoffs in the 18th edition of the tournament if they manage to win on Saturday.

RCB and KKR faced each other in the curtain raiser on March 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The visiting side restricted Ajinkya Rahane's men to a total of 174/8 after Krunal Pandya starred with a three-for. In reply, RCB made light work of the target after Phil Salt and Virat Kohli smashed exhilarating half-centuries. Patidar also scored a quickfire 34 off 16 balls as the Royal Challengers romped home with seven wickets and 22 balls to spare.
