The coveted global cricket extravaganza T20 World Cup 2024 is just around the corner and hence all the fans and cricket fraternity alike are eagerly waiting for explosive cricket action on the field. Hence, it is no surprise that Indian cricket stars are equally eager to support Team India both on and off the field. In the same vein, ace off-spin wizard Ravichandran Ashwin showed his excitement but with a twist.

The star Indian bowler who had been part of the squad in the previous edition of the T20 World Cup, was not picked to represent the nation this time. However, this did not stop him from cheering and supporting Team India away from the field. But like always fans always get some twists from Ashwin who never fails to bamboozle batters along with his fans. This time Ashwin took to his social media and posted a video where he was seen playing a fun quiz game with his daughters, Aadhya and Akhira.

Notably, in the video, Ravichandran Ashwin asked his cute daughters a plethora of questions ranging from who are the hosts of the World Cup this time to naming the head coach of the Indian team. Moreover, he did not miss out on asking about the prolific batter Shimron Hetmyer. Besides, how he could have missed out on asking about the mother of all rivalry aka India and Pakistan's World Cup venue? Interestingly, Ashwin's daughters successfully answered all the questions correctly except for the venue of the most-awaited cricket game of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Ashwin bowled well in IPL 2024, Team India to start World Cup campaign against Ireland

Meanwhile, speaking of Ravichandran Ashwin's performance in the recently concluded IPL 2024, the offspinner claimed nine wickets from 15 appearances for Rajasthan Royals. During these games, Ashwin averaged 51.89 with an economy rate reading 8.49. His one of notable bowling spells came in the Eliminator match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where he just kept the batters guessing with tight bowling with a brilliant economy rate of 4.75 while having two victims to his name.

Meanwhile, Team India will start their World Cup campaign under the leadership of Rohit Sharma against Ireland on June 5, in New York. The T20 World Cup 2024 will commence on June 1, where the hosts USA (United States of America) will take on their neighbours Canada in the tournament opener. Besides the USA, West Indies will be co-hosting the global event as it will conclude on June 29.
