'Sourav Ganguly has not spoken to me about that MS Dhoni's future' - Virat Kohli

After returning from World Cup 2019, Team India is yet to face a defeat in the longer format. After winning the series against South Africa, the Indian captain attended the press conference. He revealed his opinion over Sourav Ganguly, who was recently appointed as BCCI’s President. Dada was selected unanimously by the board for the supreme post.

The Delhiite Kohli is leading the team in all formats and is having a great run as skipper in 2019 except the upset that came in the 50-over mega event. The duo is yet to meet in order to have a discussion over MS Dhoni’s future which is currently the most debated topic in the cricketing fraternity.

Virat Kohli is happy to have former Indian captain as the new BCCI President

During the conference, he was asked if he had any discussion with Dada on the former Indian skipper’s future. He declaimed any such discussions. Kohli also recited that he is happy to have Ganguly as the new BCCI boss and will soon meet in the near future, “I congratulated him [Sourav Ganguly]. It’s great that he has become BCCI president. He will get in touch with me when he has to. I will go meet him when he tells me to. He has not spoken to me about that (MS Dhoni’s future). I am sure,” Kohli told the reporter.

Meanwhile, he funnily reacted to a question related to having dinner at MS Dhoni‘s house tonight. Indian skipper smiled and said he is currently present in the dressing room and asked the reporter if he wants to say “Hello” to him. Sourav Ganguly to hold talks with selectors and Virat Kohli on 24th October

Prior to this, Sourav Ganguly had earlier said that he will talk to Kohli on the future of MS Dhoni on 24th October, “I will meet him on October 24th. I will talk to him like a BCCI president talks to the captain. He is the captain and he can take a call,” Dada said as quoted by India Today.

New BCCI President also cleared that he will surely have a word with World Cup-winning captain about what he wants, “I will find out from the selectors when I meet them on October 24. We will find out what the selectors are thinking and then I will put forth my opinion. We will have to see what Dhoni wants. I will also speak to him what he wants to do and what he does not want to do.” he added.
