The ODI series between the Sri Lanka and West Indies underwent at Colombo where the hosts who a thriller in a rain hurtled game. After West Indies put on 159 in restricted 26 overs, Sri Lanka needed 163 according to D/L method and they got off to a glorious start. However, they collapsed and started towards defeat but they recovered towards the end and sneaked in with a 1-wicket win.

3 – Jason Holder’s strike rate off 276.92 during his innings is the 3rd highest S/R for a captain in an ODI innings after facing 10 balls. Only AB de Villiers and Brendon McCullum had better S/R in an ODI innings as captain.

12 – Sixes hit during this game. West Indies struck 8 sixes while Sri Lanka hit only 4.
