The most successful IPL team has put together another formidable squad this year. They have the most experienced bowling line-up this season. Quinton de Kock, after his last year heroics, is likely to get the opener’s slot ahead of the T20 specialist Chris Lynn. Accompanying him in the opening will be the skipper Rohit Sharma himself.

The No. 3 and No.4 spots will be filled up by Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Quinton de Kock is expected to take precedence as a wicket-keeper ahead of his Indian counterpart Ishan Kishan. Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya will be the 3 all-rounders in the playing XI. They are also expected to take care of finishing the innings.

The bowling line up of their team is so strong that all three of their pacers are capable of leading the bowling attack and destroying the opposition themselves. The pace trio comprises of Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga, India’s spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and New Zealand’s left-armer Trent Boult. Rahul Chahar with his wily leg-spin will join Krunal Pandya in the spin section.

Predicted Playing XI: Quinton de Kock(wk), Rohit Sharma(c), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Lasith Malinga, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah.
