Suryakumar Yadav gets emotional as he gives a lovely gift to his parents

Veteran Mumbai cricketer Suryakumar Yadav had a very good time with the bat in the recently concluded season of the IPL. The dynamic batsman was one of the batting mainstays of the Kolkata Knight Riders over the last few seasons of the tournament. At the IPL auctions this season, he was snapped up by the Mumbai Indians. The franchises changed but his role in the team did not.

He started off the season as a middle-order batsman. Soon, the Mumbai Indians think tank decided to promote him up the order. For the first time in his IPL career, Suryakumar Yadav found himself opening the innings for his side. He was nervous but he ended up coming out with a very impressive performance. In his very first game as an opener, Suryakumar hit a fifty.

He soon made it a habit to give good starts to his side throughout the league stages. Despite the fact that the Mumbai Indians had a dwindling time in the season, Suryakumar seemed to be the only consistent performer. He ended up scoring more than 500 runs in the season. In the process, he became the first uncapped Indian player to score in excess of 500 runs in a single edition of the tournament.

He had a prolific run of form on the field, and now he is having a merry time off the field. Recently, Suryakumar gifted a car to his parents in Mumbai. He posted an update on his Instagram handle to show the gift to his fans as well. He got a little emotional too as he recalled the time when his parents had gifted him his first car. He feels happy to gift them a car now.
