Bengal Tigers made an impressive start to the tournament with a 36-run win against the Northern Warriors on the second day of the tournament. The Tigers lost just one wicket in their 10 overs as Jason Roy (60), Sherfane Rutherford (47) and Sunil Narine (15) ensured they finished with 130/1. Their strong bowling line-up made it tough for the Northern Warriors who made only 94/7 in reply. Aamer Yamin’s double hat-trick was the highlight of the game.

They face Maratha Arabians in the 7th game of the tournament. The Arabians, led by Dwayne Bravo, became the first side to be bowled out in a T10 innings in their first game against Punjabi Legends. Chasing 122 to win, Maratha were cruising at 41/0 after 2.4 overs. However, Zahir Khan and Chris Jordan shared seven wickets between them to bundle the opposition out for 78. With the increasing required run-rate, Arabians kept swinging blindly and found themselves in a hole.

The match starts at 5:45 PM local time (1:45 PM GMT) (7:15 PM IST).

Pitch Condition/Report:

The games played around 6 PM local time have favoured the chasing team on the first two days of the game. Any target under 120 could be a cake-walk for the chasing sides.

Probable XI:

Bengal Tigers:

Sunil Narine (C), Jason Roy, Luke Wright, Sam Billings, Chirag Suri, Mohammad Nabi, Sherfane Rutherford, Aamer Yamin, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Zaheer Khan/Ali Khan, Morne Morkel.

Maratha Arabians:

Dwayne Bravo, Hazratullah Zazai, Alex Hales, James Vince, Kamran Akmal/Brendan Taylor, Rashid Khan, Najibullah Zadran, James Faulkner, Roelof van der Merwe, Richard Gleeson, Zahoor Khan.

Power Picks:

Aamer Yamin, who bagged four in four balls in the previous match, was impressive during the first season of the tournament where he picked up four wickets across the seven overs he bowled. Morne Morkel made things tough for the batsmen by bowling hard length. He could end up picking wickets if batsmen see him as a scoring option.

Best Playing XI:

Sam Billings, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Hazratullah Zazai, Sherfane Rutherford, Aamer Yamin, Sunil Narine, Roelof van der Merwe, Rashid Khan, Morne Morkel, Richard Gleeson.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

With Sunil Narine opening the batting and bowling the two overs, he will be an ideal captain option. One among Jason Roy and Alex Hales can be considered as vice-captain. If none of the above is to be considered, Sherfane Rutherford and Roelof van der Merwe could be captain and vice-captain.

Expert Advice:

Only one of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman should be considered as batsmen prefer to see off their two overs without taking risks. Zaheer Khan could come in the place of Ali Khan who was expensive in the last match. Kamran Akmal might make way for Brendan Taylor after a disappointing show with the gloves and also with the bat in the first game.

Probable Winners:

Bengal Tigers are expected to make it two in two due to fire-power in batting and bowling but Maratha Arabians could give them a good fight.
