The juggernaut of the T10 League continues as the Sindhis and Pakhtoons will face-off in the ninth match of the tournament on Friday. With weekend starting, the crowd is expected to pour in at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium to watch some of the superstars of the game in action.

The Sindhis are coming into this game with a clinical victory over the defending champions Kerala Knights by nine wickets and will be high on confidence. They were blown by Mohammad Shahzad in the tournament opener and the team did well to overcome from the state of shock. Pravin Tambe turned it around for them who took four wickets in the very first over of the game including a hat-trick. They would be keen on continuing in the same momentum in this game as well.

As far as Pakhtoons are concerned, they stormed back in the tournament with Andre Fletcher’s blistering knock against the Rajputs. They chased down the total of 122 runs on the back of his assault and will back him to do the job again. Shahid Afridi, the skipper, though will hope that his bowlers follow him and bowl tight lines like he did in the previous outing.

Pitch and Conditions

The temperature will hover around 28 Degrees Celsius on a breezy Friday evening. The pitch has continued to provide some great entertainment with consistent scores over 100 for the teams batting first. Also, these scores being chased down quite easily with overs to spare.

Sindhis

The Sindhis had a cracker of a game against the Kerala Knights and they no need to change the winning combination at all it seems. Mohammad Nawaz continued to be expensive and his place is in threat now as Fawad Ahmed might be included in place of him. The batsmen are doing well while Pravin Tambe will be looking to make an impact once again like he did in his first game of the season.

Pakhtoons have a strong batting line-up and it will remain unchanged with the top-order playing most of the deliveries. However, their bowling has been the major issue for them with the runs leaking from both the ends. Apart from Shahid Afridi, all the others have gone for runs. David Willey is sitting on the sidelines surprisingly and he might come in for RP Singh or Mohammad Irfan for this game.
