Warner took it to his official Instagram account to share an emotional picture of him in the team’s jersey and wrote a special caption for the fans of the franchise. The star batter who has been a part of SRH for eight years has had a dismaying tournament this year. He had to lose his captaincy midway through owing to his dip in form and was also left out from the playing XI of the team. The England keeper-batter Jonny Bairstow did not regroup with the side for the second leg of the IPL and thus Warner was included in the initial games of the UAE leg.

However, after registering consecutive single-digit scores, he was left out of the team. Jason Roy replaced him in the side and in four matches he scored a half-century and one 40+ score. Having said that, Warner’s time with SRH is uncertain as there are speculations that SRH might release him ahead of the next edition of the IPL.
