Australians have a knack for winning the world cup. With 5 trophies in their cabinet, they are one of the strongest teams in the competition. 3. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav makes it to this list because of his consistency for the last three years. It took a while for Suryakumar to make his debut for India and when he did, he was flawless. In the domestic circuit, he is a well-known name, but it was tough for him to get into the national side. As the selectors overlooked him last year, fans criticized the selection committee.

Head returned to the Mumbai franchise during the eleventh season of the IPL for INR 3.2 crores. During that time, the stylish batsman made full use of the Wankhede pitch to score runs for his team. It was a rare occasion as, during that season, Mumbai failed to qualify for the playoffs. But, Surya’s talent was taken into notice.

K.L. Rahul is another member of the Indian squad who has been consistent for the last couple of years. And the credit for some improved performance by the Punjab-based franchise does go to Rahul. He has managed to bring out the best from the squad for the last two years.

Ravindra Jadeja or Sir Ravindra Jadeja is a player who has seen all highs and lows a cricketer could face in his career. 7. Rashid Khan

Currently, he is the strike bowler for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In 62 IPL matches, Rashid has taken 75 wickets with an economy rate of 6.25. Even after playing in the circuit for nearly three years, the batsmen are still unable to pick him up. Rashid has also taken a hattrick in the BBL for the Strikers. And because of his skills, he has managed to single-handedly defeat the West Indies in a few ODIs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar had embedded his name in the history books as he became the bowler who handed <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/sachin-tendulkar-discharged-from-hospital-after-six-days-will-continue-to-remain-in-isolation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sachin Tendulkar </a>his first-ever duck in domestic cricket. Kumar was the best bowler on Dhoni’s team for a long time. Adding on, he was one of the main contributors to the famous Lord’s win over England in 2014. Even after a series of injuries, he managed to bowl effectively during the series against England.

Kumar is SRH’s go-to bowler since his association with the team. During his time at the RCB, he was unable to get enough chances, but when he became a popular figure, he managed to turn into a match-winner for his franchise. Malinga is the first word that comes to mind when one hears the word yorker. And he was one of the finest limited-overs bowlers Sri Lanka has ever produced. Lasith Malinga was a part of the Sri Lankan team during the 2007 and 2011 World Cups. But, unfortunately, his team failed to win the trophy.

During the inaugural auction, Malinga was picked up by the MI management for 350,000 dollars. This started his journey with the Mumbai Indians and he won two champions leagues and four IPL trophies with them. In 2020, he opted out of the IPL, and in 2021, he retired from the format. But even today, he is the highest wicket-taker in the history of the tournament with 170 wickets.

10. Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra’s story is the same as that of Wasim Jaffer. He was overshadowed by the rise of Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, very much similar to Jaffer as his contributions were overlooked by fans because Sehwag was at his prime. Few people will realize the fact that Mishra is the second-highest wicket-taker in the history of the league with 160 wickets. He has been a stalwart in this format for any franchise he has played.

Amit Mishra has played in 151 IPL matches so far. With such a high wicket tally and an excellent economy rate of 7.35, he can fox the batsmen with his variations and the best part about Mishra is that he has control over his line and length. But unfortunately, he has not been able to make it into the national squad regularly.

Mishra has played only 10 <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/harare-to-host-3-t20is-and-2-tests-between-zimbabwe-and-pakistan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">T20Is</a> so far. But, he has a good economy rate of 6.32. The only reason he has not been able to retain his place is because of his abetting abilities. 11. Jasprit Bumrah

An economy rate of 6.67 and the best bowling figure of 3/11 speaks volumes about his talent. Adding on, he has a decent strike rate of 18.22 in the T20Is.

In the IPL, Bumrah has picked up 111 wickets so far. An economy rate of 7.41 showcases that he is the go-to man for Rohit Sharma in the IPL. Well, even for Kohli, he is the savior of the team.
