Bhuvneshwar Kumar had embedded his name in the history books as he became the bowler who handed Sachin Tendulkar his first-ever duck in domestic cricket. Kumar was the best bowler on Dhoni’s team for a long time. Adding on, he was one of the main contributors to the famous Lord’s win over England in 2014. Even after a series of injuries, he managed to bowl effectively during the series against England.

Kumar is SRH’s go-to bowler since his association with the team. During his time at the RCB, he was unable to get enough chances, but when he became a popular figure, he managed to turn into a match-winner for his franchise. He has a plethora of bowling options apart from the seaming delivery. This makes him a difficult bowler to face.

In 121 IPL games, Kumar has picked up 136 wickets. Also, he has an impressive economy rate of 7.24 in the tournament. If we talk about his T20I records, he bowls at an economy rate of 6.98, which is even more impressive. Kumar was a part of the victorious Indian team during the 2013 Champions Trophy but has never won a world cup. Maybe, 2023 will be the year for Kumar.
