AB de Villiers has been touted as one of the best cricketers the game has ever seen in its history. His ability to tear apart the best bowling attacks in the World has made him one of the most loved cricketers. But his decision to retire from international cricket has shocked everyone and it is no surprise that the social media is flooded with the farewell messages for the great man. However, Suresh Raina has also joined the list now who believes that cricket will not be the same after his retirement.

His decision to retire is very surprising given the fact the World Cup is less than a year away and he was managing his workload keeping the mega event in mind. There was a lot of controversy about him picking and choosing the series after which the legend decided to make a comeback into all the formats of the game to give it a final shot. But it seems that his body taken a toll which has forced him to take a tough decision.

Raina’s message was on behalf of all the Indian fans and termed De Villiers as ‘Superman’ in his heart-winning message for him. The superhuman effort of the great cricketer from South Africa in the IPL at the Chinnaswamy Stadium is still fresh in the minds of the fans. “The world of cricket will definitely miss you, @ABdeVilliers17! Loads and loads of love from all of us in India. Enjoy your second innings. #TopMan #Mr360 #Superman,” his message read.

Despite his retirement from international arena De Villiers will surely be playing in the IPL which is a good news for his Indian fans and will be eager to win the coveted title as well.
