Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu congratulates SRH after their win over KKR in Qualifier 2

The Indian Premier League brings the whole country together. Right from a common man to the celebrity, people gather in huge numbers to support their respective franchises. The IPL is more like a carnival than a normal cricket tournament. The excitement around the matches is quite immense. People follow the game so closely that they almost look like they are a part of it.

The celebrities are known to visit stadiums and cheer for their teams. We have seen the big guns coming out in the open to watch their favourite players in action. Watching an IPL game at the stadium is a sight to behold. On Friday, the Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders to make it to the finals. Mahesh Babu, Telegu actor is a fan of the Orange army, congratulated them for making it to the summit clash.

Rashid takes center stage again

The star actor tweeted: “Take a bow @rashidkhan_19… Whatta match by @SunRisers. Can’t wait for Sunday!!! Congratulations to the whole team. Go #OrangeArmy #SRH.” Rashid Khan was the star of the show as he impressed everyone in all three facets of the game.

Put into bat, SRH started off well but were in the backfoot in the middle overs after which a late flourish took them to 174 which was a big score on the Eden wicket. KKR were on top in the first 10 overs but faltered against the best bowling attack and lost the plot in the final half of the innings. The senior players gave away their wickets cheaply which costed KKR dearly.

When Rashid Khan delivers such high-intensity performances, it is not possible for him to end up on the losing side. The Orange army will be facing the high flying CSK in the final game on Sunday. CSK have defeated SRH on three occasions this season and need to be at their best to alter those stats.
