Malinga was one of those rare bowlers who kept picking wickets on the same time of keeping the runs tough to come. Malinga began his IPL career in 2009 and has been playing for Mumbai since then. Malinga commonly referred as Slinga for his bowling action and inswinging yorkers. He is the leading wicket taker in IPL with 119 wickets in 84 matches and his economy rate was been recorded as 6.54.

Ravichandran Ashwin, the off spinner from Tamil Nadu played for his home team from the starting of his IPL career in 2010. Ashwin has been more a run container in IPL than a wickets taker. He has had a quite a good success with his mystery bowling deliveries. In the 84 games Ashwin played in IPL, he picked up 81 wickets with an economy rate of 6.53.

Just like Malinga, Sunil Narine has been a nut cracker for batsmen. Came into the IPL in 2012, Sunil Narine soon emerged as the crucial player for Kolkata Knight Riders. The mystery spinner causes trouble for the batsmen to read him and score against him. Narine played 48 matches and picked up 67 wickets and has had an economy of 5.8, the best in IPL.
