Sunrisers’ batting risen up at their home ground Hyderabad against Kings XI Punjab as they scored a mammoth 205 for 5. Contributions came for Naman Ojha who hit a 36-ball 79 well supported with a 44 and 45 by Warner and Dhawan.

Chasing 206, KXIP lost Sehwag in the very first over but a brilliant hitting from Vohra and Saha made the target look so small. Vohra with a 20-ball 47 and Saha scoring 26-ball 54, KXIP reached 150 in just 11.2 overs. Later Maxwell with 22-ball, Miller and Bailey completed the chase with in 18.4 overs.

Deccan Chargers got a quick start against Rajasthan Royals but they lost early wickets. But Andrew Symonds, who was looking in a terrific form, trashed the Rajasthan bowlers. He got a good support from Rohit Sharma as they put on 111 in 10 overs, helping their side to end with 214 for 6. Andrew Symonds remained unbeaten on 117.
In the chase of 215, Yusuf Pathan provided the fireworks RR needed. Came into bat at No.3 he put on a stand of 98 in 44 balls with Graeme Smith and scored 61 in just 28 balls. With Smith scoring 75 and Kaif with a 16-ball 34, RR looked in a commanding position before they lost wickets in quick succession. But their captain Shane Warne, by hitting couple of fours and sixes, scored an unbeaten 22 in just 9 balls to lead his side to a 3 wickets win with a ball to spare.

After been put into bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to a great start with openers Chris Gayle and Pujara chipping up with fifties. Cameo from AB de Villiers in the end power their score to 190 for 3.
Chasing 191, Kings XI Punjab found themselves in all sort of trouble with all their top four batsmen returning to pavilion by 10 over with just 64 runs on the board. But with a blistering century, David Miller helped the KXIP to chase down the mountain. David Miller scored his century in just 38 deliveries, remained unbeaten on 101 and shared a stand of 120 runs in just 49 balls with R Satish helping his team to win the game with two overs to spare.

Rajasthan Royals were put into bat by Kings XI Punjab during a league fixture at Abu Dhabi. Despite of not getting a good start, RR managed to post a big total of 191 with help of quick fire half centuries from Sanju Samson &amp; Shane Watson.
Chasing 192 to win, KXIP lost couple of early wicket. But Glenn Maxwell took over the charge as he smashed every possible bowler and score an amazing 89, in just 45 balls. Pujara at other end played a anchor role as he scored an unbeaten run a ball 40 and shared a standoff 116 in 67 balls with Maxwell and a 67 run stand with David Miller who smashed a quick fire 53 in just 19 deliveries as Kings XI chased down the target with 8 balls to spare.

In a must win game, CSK asked KXIP to bat first who put on a huge total of 192 with help of a brilliant 88 from Shaun Marsh, who got was well supported by Irfan Pathan (44) and Kumar Sangakkara (33).
To make into semifinals, Chennai needed 193 to win but they failed to get proper start. However, Suresh Raina &amp; Badrinath scored 69 in just 34 balls before Raina departed for 46. After choosing to bat, Deccan Chargers top 4 batsmen Sangakkara, Dhawan, Duminy and White scored well to help their side to finish strong on 196 for 2.

Kolkata Knight Riders, after electing to bat against Kings XI Punjab scored a huge score of 200 for 3 with Chris Gayle striking 88 runs in just 42 balls with Ganguly and Tiwary chipping in with 36 and 35 respectively.
In the chase of 201, Mahela Jayawardene led his side with a brilliant century. First, he put on stand of 51 inside 5 overs before Sangakkara came to with a handy contribution. However, he fell for 38 after a 98 run stand between the Sri Lankans in just 51 balls. Yuvraj Singh came in to finish the game with 10 balls to spare, with Mahela remaining unbeaten on 110.

Kings XI Punjab openers put on a brilliant standoff 129 after they chose to bat with Bopara and Bisla scoring 77 and 75 respectively as they helped their side to 203 for 3.
Chasing 204, RCB got useful stands with Jacques Kallis playing an anchor role. First he put on 74 with Manish Pandey and later a 69 with Uthappa in just 35 balls with Robin scoring a 21-ball 51. Kallis finished off the game with an unbeaten 88 as he put an undefeated stand of 61 balls to complete the chase with 7 balls to spare.

Chennai Super Kings got off to a flyer with Dwayne Smith scoring 66 and McCullum smashing 67 as they shared a 123 run stand for first wicket. In the end, Raina and Dhoni scored quick runs as they ended up on 205 for 3.
In reply to CSK’s 205, KXIP reached their fifty in just 5 overs but they lost 3 wickets at that point. But Glenn Maxwell punished the Chennai Super Kings bowlers especially the spinners as he scored 95 in just 43 balls and got a good support from David Miller who scored 54 in 37 balls. They both shared 115 in 63 balls before Maxwell got out. However, Miller and Bailey finished the game with 7 balls to spare.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s top 3 scored heavily after they chosen to bat against Chennai Super Kings. Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli scored 45, 68 and 57 respectively but the next batsmen tried too many things only to get out as the RCB finished with 205 for 8.
Chasing 206, Chennai Super Kings got things going well on their side with Faf du Plessis leading them with a gritty 77 but they were a bit far from the required run rate. The equation came down to CSK needing 43 in last two over and the Penultimate over by Kolhi was smashed for 28 runs by Morkel. Sunrisers’ batting risen up at their home ground Hyderabad against Kings XI Punjab as they scored a mammoth 205 for 5. Contributions came for Naman Ojha who hit a 36-ball 79 well supported with a 44 and 45 by Warner and Dhawan.
Chasing 206, KXIP lost Sehwag in the very first over but a brilliant hitting from Vohra and Saha made the target look so small.
