The West Indian star batsman Chris Gayle, makes the list at number four. While many don’t expect a very high average from him, he actually has an amazing IPL record. In the 2011 auction of the cash-rich league, it came as a surprise to many when the big man went unsold. However, he was later called upon by RCB as a replacement for the injured Dirk Nannes.

He showed his hunger in his very first match by scoring a match-winning hundred against his former side, Kolkata Knight Riders. This was just the start of a legendary T20 career. In the IPL he has scored 4484 runs in 124 innings at a superb average of 41.13. He also has the highest Individual score of 175 not out to his name. It’s a prime example of how rejection can be treated in a positive manner and can be used as a driving force to succeed in the future.

The big-hitting batsman is not just loved for his on-field brilliance but is a fan favourite for his off-field antiques. His current franchise, Kings XI Punjab went on to say that they picked him for the brand value he adds. Even at the fag end of his career, the Caribbean batsman has the ability to single-handedly demolish the best bowling lineups in the world.
