Rahul Dravid was at his best in the year 1999 for the Indian side. The right-hander scored 1761 runs at an average of 46.34 in that year. In fact, half of Dravid’s career hundreds (6) in ODI cricket came in the year 1999 alone.

Dravid stepped up for the Indian side during the 1999 World Cup. He scored as many as 461 runs during the course of the mega event, including two centuries against Sri Lanka and Kenya. Dravid was also involved in a gargantuan partnership of 318 runs for the second wicket along with Sourav Ganguly for the Indian side against Sri Lanka in the 1999 World Cup.

Dravid played his last ODI for India in the year 2011. He is the fourth-highest run-scorer for his country in ODIs with a tally of 10889 runs to his name.
