The T20 format was introduced with a view to further popularise the game of cricket. After around 16 years, people mostly look up to the shortest version. T20 World Cups are being played and most nations have come out with their domestic T20 championships. From drafts, auctions to actions on the field, the netizens stay glued.

The format has given rise to a number of explosive batsmen over the years. Even as there are batsmen, who has stuck to playing the more orthodox shots, a few of them have come up with audacious ones.

It has added to their versatility and bowlers have found it tough to hit their blind spots. More often than not, these batsmen help their teams accelerate in need, due to which they have high strike-rates. They have become indispensable members of their teams.

Mohammad Nabi has been a witness to all the ups and down of Afghanistan cricket. Though he has retired from Test cricket, he remains to be an integral member of their ODI and T20I setup. In the 20-overs format, he knows how to use the long handle.

Having an experience of 78 matches in the format, Nabi has a decent strike-rate of 145.30, scoring 1,347 runs with four fifties to his name. Nabi made his T20I debut way back in 2010 and he has been weaving magic for over a decade now.

He is said to have a responsible head on his shoulders and has taken his side to numerous victories. On the back of his decent numbers at the highest level, Nabi has also managed to bag deals in overseas T20 leagues. At the age of 35, he isn’t done yet and has a few years of cricket left in him.
