Australia have dominated the World Cup scene like an emperor. They won their first World Cup in 1987 in India-Pakistan. And then they won in 1999,2003 and 2007 World Cups on the trot. They lost a group match to Pakistan in the 1999 World Cup and after that remained unbeaten until they lost another group match to Pakistan in 2011 World Cup. Between those 2 losses, they win 25 consecutive matches under Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting dominating and creating an almost unbreakable record.
