Jos Buttler, the England wicketkeeper has earned a reputation of a clean hitter. He made his IPL debut playing for Mumbai Indians back in 2016 but his stint couldn’t be prolonged as the Mumbai based franchise released him just after two seasons. Later on, he was picked by Rajasthan Royals in 2018 auction at a whopping fee of  4.4 crores INR.

The right handed-batsman proved his worth in the team as he smashed 548 runs in 13 games with five centuries in his first season for RR. He also won several games single-handedly for Royals and helped his side in securing birth in the playoffs, although RR failed to reserve birth in the finals.

In two seasons, Buttler has mustered 859 runs in 21 games at a brilliant strike rate of 150 for RR. And, the same would be expected from him in the upcoming season. In contrary to that Mumbai Indians think tank would be regretting their decision to leave a player like Buttler, who are still finding an opener like him but they have failed so far.
