India will host the T20 World Cup in October-November with the final to be held on November 14. Australia will host the tournament in October-November as well with the final on November 13.
India also has the responsibility to host the 50-overs World Cup in 2023 between October and November with the final on November 26.
ICC, on Friday, decided about the venue of the upcoming showpiece events.

Many clips have surfaced on the internet where the former captain can be seen carrying drinks for his teammates.
He also carried shoes in the middle after the wicket of his replacement Mohammad Rizwan fell in the 71st over of Pakistan’s 1st innings with a smile on his face.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CPL 2020 will be held behind closed doors in Tarouba and Port of Spain in Trinidad.
The officials of the league in a statement stated that 162 players, who came from different places for the league, have tested negative.
They will be now required to remain in quarantine in their official hotels for 14 days.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots player Fabian Allen has been ruled out of the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Premier League as he missed his flight from Jamaica to Barbados.
Allen was retained by Nevis Patriots in the last month’s draft and was scheduled to reach Barbados through an internal flight on Monday, August 3.
He further had to board the charter plane to Trinidad but due to some confusion, he couldn’t make it to the airport on time.
