Just like all other parents, the cricketers or the other sportsmen also secure a special place in their lives for their children and family. Indian batsman Suresh Raina who is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) posted an adorable message to wish his daughter Gracia on her second birthday. Raina’s daughter Gracia celebrated her second birthday yesterday and the CSK star player posted the cutest birthday wish on Twitter for his loving daughter.
Raina has appeared in 172 IPL matches which is the record number for any cricketer in the tournament. He rarely missed any of the fixtures in the past, however, he missed one game in 2016 while playing for the Gujrat Lions, because of the birth of his daughter. The families of many cricketers in the CSK franchise are currently travelling with the cricketers, which helps to boost and support the morale of the players as they can see their family and loved ones around.

Raina and his decent numbers in IPL 2018
The eleventh edition of the IPL paved the return of the Chennai Super Kings after two years of suspension and many of the old franchise cricketers also returned in the second homecoming. However, the CSK team has been in a sensational form this season and have already claimed their place in the playoffs. But the veteran left-handed batsman has not been in his natural consistent form in the tournament so far.
Raina has scored 315 runs in 11 matches in the current season at an average of 35, which includes three half-centuries. He was also forced to miss one game due to a calf muscle injury, which was the first time he missed a match for the CSK franchise in the history of IPL.
The left-handed batsman will certainly be looking to perform in a staggering fashion in the upcoming games, which will help him gain confidence before the T20I series against Ireland and England.
