In his 100th Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, southpaw David Warner regained his form and hit a magnificent double century against the quality bowlers of South Africa. After the entire captaincy saga, Warner would have been under a lot of pressure to perform and the 36-year-old rose to the occasion to play a blistering knock at the iconic stadium.
Interestingly, the cricketer is not just trending for his blistering innings but also for a major error that was committed by the broadcasters during his innings. Fox Sports, the host broadcaster presented his stats in Tests, ODIs and T20Is, where he has amassed 7922 Test runs, 6007 runs in ODIs and 2894 runs in T20Is. However, instead of showing the data as runs, they ended up showing the graphics as wickets. This made the Twitterverse lose calm and share their hilarious reaction.
Unfortunately after hitting his third double-century in the longest format of the game, the opener suffered an injury and couldn’t continue further. He was seen leaving the field by taking help from the physio and as things stand, there’s no medical update about the cricketer.
On the other hand, Mitchell Starc, who suffered a finger injury on the opening day of the Test, may miss the Sydney Test.
Here's how Twitter reacted -
He'll be disappointed at conceding 360609 runs from his Test bowling

David Warner will not just forever remain the greatest bowler/highest wicket taker of all time (past/present/future) in the world, he alone will also be better than the next 100 bowlers at any point in time.
Just needs to work on his avg though:)@LiebCricket https://t.co/j9NtmIBim2
Just pray he gets the necessary 78 wickets in the next test to make the magical 8000🤞🙏

Wow. Such a great cricketer of our generation. In fact he is so great, that after bowling out the opposition twice every match, he even asked the spectators to go in and have a bat. And then he bowled them out too!!! What greatness!!!

100 test matches. 20 wickets per match. That's a total of 2000 wickets. Incredible how he was able to take 7922 wickets out of 2000. Avg's a bit on the higher side though. Lol 🤣 conceded a few runs too, didn't he
