In the 11th match of the tournament, Australia Women faced off against Sri Lanka women in the ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup. In a dominant display by the Aussies, Sri Lanka were unable to perform in any aspect of the game as they were dominated by their opponents throughout the match.

Sri Lanka got off to a good start thanks to Harshitha Samarawickrama, who scored 34 runs off 40 balls and was the highest run-scorer for the team. Megan Schutt was the star of the Australian bowling attack, as the 30-year-old snared four scalps and gave away 24 runs. Grace Harris also impressed with the ball as she picked up two wickets and gave away a mere seven runs in three overs.

The Australian batters gave Sri Lanka no chance, as they did not lose a single wicket. Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy both completed their half-centuries. Mooney scored 56* off 53 balls, whereas Healy scored 54* off 43 deliveries.
