Yet another batting failure the Kerala Knights has left the fans extremely disappointed. Despite having a strong batting unit on paper, they succumbed and lost to the Punjabi Legends by 36 runs. Pakistan‘s Hasan Khan was the star for the Legends with a highly impressive four-wicket haul. Also, Praveen Kumar looked good and picked up three wickets in the match.
Chris Gayle – The only batsman to get to double figures for Knights
The Punjabi Legends changed things around slightly with their batting order for this match. Instead of opening with Luke Ronchi, it was Umar Akmal who walked out to open with Evin Lewis. However, it didn’t make much of a difference overall. Both Lewis and Ronchi got out for six runs each and Umar Akmal scored 30, which he would otherwise do batting in the middle order as well.
Tom Moores was unbeaten on 16 off 11 balls while Shaiman Anwar scored 12. The side still looked to be in some trouble as they didn’t get any closer to a defendable total. At this stage, Chris Jordan walked in and raced away to 24 off only 7 balls to assist his team finish on 107 after 10 overs.
The chase was extremely disappointing from the Kerala Knights. None of their batsmen except for Chris Gayle put up a show. They kept falling one after the other at regular intervals. Gayle looked good with 35 off 19 balls before he got out. However, the next highest score was 8 which is not at all acceptable. The rest of the ten batsmen together scored 31 runs.
Hasan Khan was terrific with a four-wicket haul. This 20-year-old, with his brilliant spell of bowling, left Twitterati stunned. The fans were pleased to see another pace sensation quickly ascending up the ranks. The Knights’ fans expressed extreme disappointment after a shocking loss.
Here is how Twitterati reacted:

Well done young gun @16hassankhan @PunjabiLegends_ @T10League— Anas Saeed (@anussaeed1) November 26, 2018
How shameful is that you are mentioning a seasoned campaigner from #India for geting 3 wickets of tail enders (7th,8th & 9th wicket) but ignoring a young talent #HassanKhan from #Pakistan who got 4 wickets (2nd,4th & 5th) & played crucial role in winning for @PunjabiLegends_

#T10League is basically a mixture of Afghanistan premier league and carribian premier league.
