If there is any team that has dominated the two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the history of the league, then it has been the Mumbai Indians. Yet again, even in this edition of the IPL, the Mumbai Indians managed to beat the Knight Riders on both the occasions.

With a thumping 6 wicket win at their last home match at fortress Mumbai, Mumbai registered their 4th win of the season. Mumbai made the chase of 175 look so easy and were over the line with 12 balls to spare. Earlier in the day, a skipper special from Gautam Gambhir, 59 off 45 balls, anchored the Knight Riders to post a decent total of 174/5 on the board. Gambhir reached the second spot in the race to orange cap with that innings.

In the run chase, the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma, yet again, led from the front and scored and unbeaten 68 off just 49 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. The big West Indian Kieron Pollard did exactly what Chris Morris had done last night to the Gujarat Lions bowlers.

Kieron Pollard brought up the joint fastest 50 in the tournament, scoring 51 in just 17 balls. He absolutely made a mess of the spell of R Sathish by taking him for 23 runs in the 16th over and later hit 3 sixes off the bowling of JaydevUnadkat to seal the game for the Mumbai Indians. He remained unbeaten on 51 off just 17 balls with 2 boundaries and 6 towering maximums!

Twitter went berserk over how the big West Indian smacked the bowlers mercilessly. Here are some of the best tweets:
