Twitter user abuses Parthiv Patel over simple question

The advent of social media has allowed any Tom, Dick and Harry to share anything under the sun. Twitter has begun to see even abuses these days. Most recently, cricketer, Parthiv Patel had to face an abusive tweet from a user, and for no valid reason for that matter.
Parthiv Patel tweeted to his fans asking for help with where he could stream the India-Sri Lanka game live in Hong Kong. Parthiv was in Hong Kong for a particular reason and was hence unable to watch the game live on television. A cricketer himself, and an avid fan of the Indian Cricket Team, Parthiv Patel did not want to miss the mouth-watering clash between India and Sri Lanka in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy.
His tweet read, “Where can I watch live streaming of India game in hongkong?”

Several fans retweeted Parthiv Patel’s tweet, and some others replied to the wicket-keeper batsmen in order to assist him with his query. However one particular user abused Parthiv for no reason whatsoever, and his tweet read as follows:

Unable to comprehend why that user would abuse him, Parthiv politely tweeted back asking why he needed to type curse words in reply to a simple question? He also poked at him asking whether he spoke at home in the same manner.

Another India cricketer Irfan Pathan promptly pounced onto the abuser and sided with Parthiv saying, “Trend hay gali dena ka #learntorespect”. Pathan essentially lashed out at the abuser saying that using swear words has become an unfortunate trend in social media these days.

Meanwhile, several fans took this opportunity to slam the man who abused Parthiv and sent out strong tweets to teach him a lesson.

Eventually, the man apologized for his abuses to Parthiv Patel saying that he hadn’t noticed that Parthiv’s was an authentic Twitter handle. He also praised the left-hander for his contribution to Mumbai Indian’s record 3rd IPL victory recently.
