The IPL 2018 auctions lived up to every bit of hype that was created around it. Some of the biggest stars failed to get the bids, and there were some rookies who fetched mega deals. Among the little known cricketers who managed to attract high bids was young Jofra Archer. The Indian cricket fans knew very little about Archer until the time the franchises lit up the auction room to bag his services.

He was eventually bought by the Rajasthan Royals for a whopping INR 7.2 crores. Soon, the fans started to fetch more information about him and the young cricketer became an overnight sensation. The success story of this 22-year old Jofra Archer has been quite amazing. He joined Sussex in a bid to make it to the English side some day.

For the Barbados-born Archer, this was more like following the footsteps of Chris Jordan from the Caribbean who went on to play for England. The moment of fame for Archer arrived at the Big Bash League though. He was roped in as the replacement for Tom Curran in the Hobart Hurricanes side. Soon, he made a name for himself with his fast bowling and handy ability with the bat.

He even bowled a delivery that clocked the speed of 94 mph. Needless to conclude, Jofra Archer is a talented man. But, here comes the surprising factor. Archer, seemingly, is not a big fan of India and the Indian cricketers. Rajasthan Royals posted a video of Archer on their official social media account.

“A message from West Indies cricketing sensation @craig_arch! Don’t let his good manners fool you. He’s a fierce competitor on the field, just like the Windies greats before him.#AbBajegaDanka #IPL2018 #IPLAuction #HallaBol,” they wrote in their tweet.

Twitter user shows the darker side of things

A Twitter user was quick to respond to the tweet and exposed how Jofra Archer used to post hate comments for India, and the Indian cricketers. The screenshots clearly suggested that Archer hated MS Dhoni as well.

The fans were certainly least impressed by these archived screenshots. Some fans mocked how Archer did not even feel the need to change his jersey whilst shooting the video. Others looked unhappy with his anti-Indian side.

Here is how the fans reacted:
