Twitterati unimpressed with Salman Khan targeting Sreesanth in recent Bigg Boss episode

Out-of-favor Indian cricketer S Sreesanth has failed to stage a comeback on the cricket field ever since his name floated in the spot-fixing scandal in 2013. Despite being cleared of all charges by the officials, the Kerala pacer could not find relief from the Indian cricket board. Subsequently, his aspirations of staging any sort of comeback in recent times have been largely unfruitful.

Well, for the ones who know Sreesanth, they well and truly understand that he is an entertainer. While he has been off the field, he has still managed to keep himself and his fans engaged in multiple ways. He was seen in a dance reality show. Soon, his pictures of bulking up in the gym surfaced the social media. A good decent trial in Bollywood was up next for the pacer.

And currently, he is seen in the popular reality show Bigg Boss. He is being liked by the fans in the show, but the show host, Salman Khan recently slammed him in an episode. In the most recent weekend episode, titled ‘Weekend ka Vaar’, Salman looked quite harsh in his criticism of Sreesanth. He slammed the cricket for defaming a fellow contestant, Surbhi.

While the whole story can be a little complicated for the ones not following the show, here is the story cut short – During the nominations, Sreesanth, along with contestants Anoop and Jasleen, cited that they nominated Surbhi since she smoked in the washroom. When the story was being discussed, the trio was seen laughing in the background as Surbhi tried to plead guilty.

Salman, visibly unhappy with the same, ended up bashing Sreesanth and co for being egoistic and showing lack of sportsman spirit. Well, the Twitterati certainly did not like this biased action of the Bollywood actor. They lashed out at Salman for being biased towards Surbhi and being against the other contestants.

Whether the cricketer was indeed guilty of creating a false story or not, is left to the imagination of the spectators. For now, it is evident that the fans are certainly showing their support to the Kerala express.
