Preview:

A virtual knockout will be hosted by the RGIC Stadium in Hyderabad during the U19 Challenger Trophy 2019-20. The India A Under-19s will clash off India C Under-19s on Friday to seal their position in the final. Both the teams lost their respective match against the India B team who became the first side to qualify for the final of this competition. The loser of the match on Friday will be facing off Nepal A Under-19s and will be aiming to finish at No.3 place.

Weather Condition/Report:

There could be periodic clouds at the venue on Friday which won’t bring any rain.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The RGICS in Hyderabad witnessed totals around 240 in both matches. The track looked much better than the scorecard suggests. In the first match, it was the opening spell of Akash Singh and some poor batting at death overs saw India A finishing with a below-par total. Nepal’s disciplined bowling didn’t allow them to score big in the previous game. We could see totals close to 300 on Friday.

Expert Advice:

Not many picked Shashwat Rawat for the first two matches as he was listed at 8 credits. Rawat didn’t have big scores for India U19s this year which is one of the reasons for his low price tag. However, he is very much capable of big knocks like the one he scored on Wednesday.

Probable Winners:

India A Under-19s are expected to qualify for the final.
