Uthappa, Irfan Pathan have a friendly conversation as cricket world celebrates Eid
While the players wished their fans on the occasion, a few were involved in a friendly conversation too. The festival of Eid is remarked by absolute delicacies for the food lovers. Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa was very much aware of the fact and wished the Pathan brothers – Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan – a very happy Eid.
He did not forget to mention that he wished to be with them on the occasion to enjoy all the food. He tweeted, “@IrfanPathan @iamyusufpathan eid Mubarak boys!! I wish I was with you’ll today for the food!!”
Irfan was quick to retweet and wished Eid Mubarak to Uthappa. He also asked him to come over and said they will wait for him to arrive as Uthappa anyway needs hours to finish his serving of food. He retweeted, “@robbieuthappa @iamyusufpathan Eid mubruk mere Bhai, to aja Will wait for u to finish the food as u take hours to finish it”

The other players weren’t far away from wishing their fans on the occasion. Tweets came in flooding from all parts of the world. English commentator Alan Wilkins wished everyone on the occasion. Indian pace bowler R Vinay Kumar also took to Twitter to wish everyone a happy Onam. From English cricketer Moeen Ali to team India head coach Anil Kumble and the BCCI President Anurag Thakur, all took to Twitter to share the message of peace and joy.
The members of the Indian Women’s cricket team also had their good wishes spread among their fans and followers.
