Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi caused a widespread uproar with his recent tweet on Kashmir. The region of Kashmir has always been a topic of debate between India and Pakistan. Recently, Afridi had blamed India for the atrocities on the civilians in Kashmir. The Indian fans did not like the tweet. And the cricketers were no exception either. After several big names, another Indian cricketer – Pragyan Ojha – has jumped in to the debate.

Afridi had asked the UN to intervene and take a stern stance against India. In response to this, Gautam Gambhir had given a mouthful of words to Afridi. Soon, Suresh Raina came up with a tweet asking Afridi not to spread hate. Afridi came back with another tweet trying to justify his stance in the case.

In a recent update, Shikhar Dhawan also had a very bold message for Afridi. He remarked that the former cricketer must mind his own business and not jump into issues such as these. And now, Dhawan has found some firm backing from Pragyan Ojha, who believes that Dhawan has used the best words to respond to the former Pakistani captain.

Here is what Shikhar Dhawan had to say in the case:

“Pehle khudke desh ki haalat sudharo. Apni soch apne paas rakho. Apne desh ka joh hum kar rahe hai woh acha hi hai aur aage jo karna hai woh humein ache se pata hai. Zyaada dimaag mat lagao @SAfridiOfficial,” Shikhar Dhawan had written.

This roughly translates to, “First one should improve the conditions of one’s own country. Keep their thoughts to themselves. Whatever we are doing in our country is good for us and we very well know what we have to do in the future. Do not overthink in the issue, Shahid Afridi.”

Here is what Pragyan Ojha wrote in his response:

“bahut khoob kaha hai…. jatt ji,” Pragyan Ojha wrote in his tweet.
