Virat Kohli and Anuskha Sharma are probably the most popular couple in the country. So, when the couple announced the birth of their first child on social media a few days back, fans couldn’t keep their calm. Anushka Sharma gave birth to a daughter on January 11. The Indian cricket captain informed his fans that both Anuskha and the baby were healthy.

In recent news, the couple has requested the paparazzi to not attempt clicking pictures of their baby. The two in a written note to the paparazzi community of Mumbai sought for the privacy of their child. The paparazzi culture is so high that there is no celebrity kid who is spared from the cameras.

We want to protect the privacy of our child: Virat Kohli

The couple in the note also expressed their gratitude for all the love which they received upon revealing the birth of their first child. “As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support,” the couple said in the statement.

The couple also said that they will share content when it’s time. The duo seems to have sorted a process in which they want their kid’s life to be. Even with all the fame the two celebrities get, both of them have been very humble and taken steps which always seemed ethical. They probably didn’t want to give their baby as much attention as Taimur Ali Khan gets, the child of famous Bollywood actors, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

“While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,” they said.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently celebrated their third anniversary

The Indian captain decided to leave the Australian tour midway so that he can be around for the birth of his first child, a moment which was ‘very special’ according to the skipper. The strict rules of quarantine made him miss more matches than he would have wanted to. However, the couple deserves to cherish these special moments together. The couple recently also celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
