With India and England being two of the powerhouses of world cricket, the ongoing five-match series between them holds great significance. Owing to the same, Indian skipper Virat Kohli would be raring to make a mark on English soil. While Kohli remains focused and energetic on the field, he has some brilliant company to spend his off-field time. Kohli has traveled to England with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika.

On many occasions, the trio has been spotted enjoying a gala time on this very tour. Fans have also been getting their regular updates thanks to their social media posts. Recently, Vamika got an adorable surprise from a London hotel. The hotel welcomed the little girl with her name written on a green balloon. “Welcome back dear Vamika, “read the text on the balloon which was tied to a stuffed toy.

Anushka was certainly overwhelmed by the gesture as she shared the picture of the balloon on her Instagram story. Needless to mention, the snap got viral in no time with netizens heaping praises on the hotel management.

Meanwhile, Vamika turned six-month-old on July 11, and to mark the occasion, Virat and Anushka took her to a park in the UK. Although Virat and Anushka have shared many pictures of their daughter, Vamika’s face is visible in none. The power couple has been keeping their daughter away from the limelight as they feel it is a decision their child will make on her own when she grows up.

Notably, Kohli and other Indian players have traveled to London for the second Test of the five-match series. The opening clash resulted in a draw all thanks to cricket’s age-old enemy in England, rain. India dominated the majority of the contest and their victory even seemed on the cards as they needed just 157 runs on the final day with nine wickets in hand.

However, the heaven gates remained open on the final day as not a single ball was bowled. As a result, the game ended in a draw. The action now moves to the iconic Lord’s cricket stadium and both teams would be raring to emerge victoriously. Not to forget, Kohli bagged a golden duck in the previous game and he’ll have a point to prove as well.
