The Indian captain Virat Kohli was ruled out of the fourth and the final Test against Australia at Dharamsala due to his shoulder injury. But he could not keep himself out of the action and was seen carrying drinks onto the field. Whether on the field or off it, his inputs are always crucial for the team.

When Australia lost the first wicket the form of Matt Renshaw courtesy a beauty from Umesh Yadav, Kohli ran onto the field having two bottles of drinks in his hand for the fielders and shared his views with them. Brett Lee while doing the commentary was delighted with his gesture and said on air, “Virat Kohli carrying the drinks out which is fantastic, he must be the most expensive drinks player in the world.”

The crowd at Dharamsala who were witnessing the first ever Test at the venue were overjoyed by seeing their favorite player on the field. Though they would have hoped to see him in action with the bat in his hand but just the sight of him induced a huge roar from the fans.

The Indian captain had suffered a shoulder injury in the last Test at Ranchi when he gave chase to a shot travelling towards the boundary. He managed to keep the ball in play but fell awkwardly on his right shoulder and immediately was in trouble.

He had to go off the field and did not return in the entire Australian innings. His injury was classified as an external one and hence was allowed to bat on his normal number 3 slot. But he did not spend too much time at the crease and got out for 6 off 23 deliveries.

Despite the break of 4 days between the two Tests, he could not recover from the injury and had to miss out of the final Test handing Ajinkya Rahane the role of the captain.
