The Coronavirus threat has led to most of the countries going into lockdown. The cricketers too are left with no option but to drool on their throwback pictures. A couple of days ago, the Australia cricketer David Warner also shared a small video on his Instagram handle when he was shooting for a commercial during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the commercial, he could be seen using his bat like a sword similar to what the Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja does after reaching a milestone while batting. The Indian all-rounder swings the bat like a sword displaying his skills every time he gets to 50 or 100. Moreover, his teammates also like it a lot as they enjoy it while sitting in the dressing room.

Coming back to David Warner, he posted the video recalling his commercial stint during the IPL 2019. Interestingly, he also tagged Ravindra Jadeja hilariously asking him if he matched his sword skills. “Throwback to this time last year to a commercial we were doing for @sunrisershyd Do you think I’ve got @royalnavghan covered for the sword??” his caption read.

Here’s the post:

Meanwhile, the Indian captain Virat Kohli came across Warner’s post and couldn’t stop himself from laughing his heart out. He also spared time out during the lockdown to comment on the post with the laughing emojis.

Here’s his comment:

Ravindra Jadeja’s response to David Warner

Before Virat Kohli’s response, even Ravindra Jadeja had responded to David Warner. The southpaw gave a thumbs up to his Australian counterpart in response and told him that he has almost perfected the sword skill. “Almost there David,” Jadeja’s reply read.

Meanwhile, like other sports, even cricketing events have been affected. With no action in the middle, the players have been forced to take a break from their hectic schedules. As far as India and Australia are concerned, they were in the middle of the ODI series against South Africa and New Zealand respectively when both the contests had to be postponed/cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
