Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper is a big football fan and also a keen supporter of Portugal. In past, Kohli was also seen rooting for Germany who were the world champions during the World Cup 2014. This time Virat Kohli has chosen his best amongst the two megastars.

The two superstar Portuguese and Argentine footballers have been pushing each other towards greater success on the field for more than a decade and will probably continue to do so for a few more years. They have been in top gear for more than a decade and have been the biggest rivals of this game. He’s the most complete player I have seen and his work ethic is unmatched. He inspires people. I don’t think many people do that. He’s also a leader and I love that. Absolutely love it. He has amazing belief too,” Kohli said as quoted by Times Now.

The Indian skipper who is placed seventh on ESPN’s World Fame 100 this year, has revealed that his favorite football memories include watching the 1998 and 2002 World Cups. India has improved in football says, Indian skipper

“We are not far off. We have improved drastically in our football over the last three-four years. With new talent coming in to make the difference, and our skipper Sunil Chhetri leading the team with amazing composure and inspiration…If anyone deserves it (to play in the World Cup), it’s him. And the team should rally behind that motivation and qualify, and dedicate it to him. He’s an absolute champion and an inspirational human being,” as quoted by The Week.

At the moment Kohli is enjoying a brief break from his cricketing duties after the conclusion of the T20I series against South Africa which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Indian skipper would be spotted wearing the whites next when the Indian team hosts the Proteas in a 3-match Test series, starting October 2.
