Virat Kohli is rarely seen talking about his personal life and it is not at all surprising. With the amount of cricket he plays, he rarely gets time to reflect on his personal life. The India cricket captain is arguably one of the busiest cricketers in the world and is rarely seen taking a break from the game. The 31-year-old has been leading India across formats since the start of 2017 and has done his job with utmost aplomb.

Kohli’s record as both batsman and a captain is phenomenal. He recently led India to their twelfth consecutive Test series win at home after the 2-0 win over Bangladesh. The world number one Test is currently at the top of the ICC World Test Championship and are looking set to stay there for a good amount of time.

Kohli, nonetheless, recently opened up on his personal life and gave some interesting answers. While speaking to India Today, the cricket superstar revealed how he and his wife Anushka Sharma deal with social media trolling. He also spoke about Farokh Engineer’s comments on his wife. Engineer had sensationally claimed that Anushka was served tea by one of the selectors during a World Cup match in England.

Favourite Anushka Sharma movie:

During the course of the conversation, Virat Kohli also revealed his favourite Anushka Sharma movie. While the actress has delivered a number of big hits at the Box Office, her Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has impressed her husband the most. Kohli said he loved Anushka’s character in the movie and also stated that it would remain with him forever.

“Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, hands down. That character for me is my most favourite ever. I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open Youtube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back…. that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere,” said Kohli as quoted by IndiaToday.

In another question, he was asked to pick the favourite dish prepared by his mother. Kohli was a big foodie while growing up before becoming a fitness freak. The right-handed batsman, nonetheless, picked Rajma Chawal as his favourite dish.
