For the last few days, Indian all-format captain Virat Kohli has been posting teasers and posters for Trailer The Movie. Quite expectantly, his supporters have been waiting patiently for further announcements of the Delhi-born cricketer’s new venture. It was also learned that it will clash with Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan-starrer Sui Dhaaga.

Recently, the 29-year-old made an important revelation, mentioning it as a promotional campaign for his brand Wrogn. Back in 2014, he was appointed as the brand ambassador of the apparel brand. Recently, he said in a tweet that Trailer isn’t a movie. He took to Twitter and posted a video of ‘Trailer’.

Moreover, he captioned it and wrote, “We did put the right date on the poster, it’s just that we decided to release it on the #Wrogn date. So, without further ado, here is #TrailerTheMovie. Check it out while I prepare my Oscar acceptance speech. @StayWrogn #StayMadStayWrogn https://www.trailerthemovie.com,”

Kohli’s hectic schedule

Kohli is currently on a break as the Indian team is busy playing the 2018 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He has played cricket ever since India’s tour of South Africa earlier this year and hence the team management decided to give him the much-needed rest. Kohli also developed a shoulder strain owing to which he couldn’t play county cricket for Surrey.

However, he went on to wield his magic in India’s five-match Test series against England. The right-handed batsman notched 593 runs in five matches at an average of 59.3. He scored his maiden century on English soil at Edgbaston in Birmingham and then scored his 23rd ton in the format at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

On the backs of the stupendous shows with the willow in hand, the bearded beast was also crowned as India’s Player of the Series. He is most likely to return during India’s home Test, ODI and T20I series against the Windies, starting next month.
