Virat Kohli spotted playing gully cricket ahead of 1st Test against Bangladesh

Team India won the competitive T20I series against Bangladesh by 2-1. And, now both the teams are preparing for the first Test match that is scheduled to be played in Indore. Also, after a short refreshing break, Virat Kohli will be seen back in action in the longer format against Tigers. Both the teams have reached Indore and started off with their practice sessions but Indian skipper Virat Kohli was spotted playing gully cricket with some kids in the city.

Virat Kohli and Co. will host two-match Test series against Bangladesh and the first encounter will be played at Holkar Stadium, Indore followed by the next at Eden Gardens which will be a Day-Night affair. However, Indian fans have also shown their excitement for the cricket banter that will begin on the 14th of November.

Virat Kohli delights young teenagers with his presence

Indian skipper went for a shoot in the Bicholi Mardana area, where he delighted some local kids by playing gully ‘street’ cricket with them. The video and photos from the shoot location went viral on social media in which 31-year-old is spotted taking the throwdowns from teenagers. Kohli, who is also known as one of the fashion fiestas in India, was wearing a checked shirt with jeans and white sneakers.

Virat Kohli didn’t feature in the T20I series and went with his better half Anushka Sharma on a vacation to Bhutan. The couple also shared some beautiful pictures on social media for their fans. Also, they spent some time with local residents. Meanwhile, in his absence, Rohit Sharma was picked as the stand-in captain, who led Team India to a 2-1 series win over Bangladesh.

In a bid to prepare well for the Day-Night Test that will be played in Kolkata, the team management had requested Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to allow them to train in the evening session ahead of the first match. The set of players from both the teams will use pink SG balls during their net sessions in order to get aware of the nature and behavior of those balls in advance before the landmark game.
