Virat Kohli didn’t feature in the T20I series and went with his better half Anushka Sharma on a vacation to Bhutan. The couple also shared some beautiful pictures on social media for their fans. Also, they spent some time with local residents. Meanwhile, in his absence, Rohit Sharma was picked as the stand-in captain, who led Team India to a 2-1 series win over Bangladesh.
In a bid to prepare well for the Day-Night Test that will be played in Kolkata, the team management had requested Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to allow them to train in the evening session ahead of the first match. The set of players from both the teams will use pink SG balls during their net sessions in order to get aware of the nature and behavior of those balls in advance before the landmark game.
