After being sidelined from the national side, Hardik was set to make his national comeback through India A tour of New Zealand. However, his return was halted as he was deemed unfit.

The all-rounder finally marked his return to the national side with India’s home series against the Proteas. However, to plunge Pandya’s misery, the series was eventually called off in the wake of coronavirus pandemic after the first ODI at Dharamsala got washed off.

Both Hardik and Krunal have been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians squad and the duo was set to don the MI jersey in the thirteenth edition of the IPL 2020. However, due to the indefinite postponement of the tournament, fans will have to wait a little longer to see Hardik back on the cricket field.
