He hammered fast bowler Tim Southee for 4 sixes in his spell and entertained a huge crowd who thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

He played 101 Tests and scored 6453 runs including 12 tons and 31 fifties. He also scored 5 ODI and 2 T20I tons in a remarkable career for the Black Caps. T20 leagues around the world are sure to benefit from his international retirement and he will eager to stamp his class and authority by playing many more incredible knocks.
