The second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to get underway in a week. Peshawar Zalmi is one of the strongest looking sides on the paper. Much like the inaugural edition, they boast of some big names in their squad this year as well. Ahead of the tournament, they have received a special video message from Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh.

Harbhajan is known to have a great camaraderie with Pakistan batsman Shahid Afridi. They have had some great moments on the field – both heated and chilled out ones. This is not the first time that a celebrity has posted a video message supporting their favorite PSL team.

Earlier, before the commencement of the first season last year, many celebrities including Indian batting star Yuvraj Singh had posted a video message talking about his favorite PSL side. Now, with Harbhajan Singh posting his good wishes for the Shahid Afridi starrer Peshawar Zalmi, the trend seems to be continuing this year as well. The video message has become an instant hit on the social media and the fans are going gaga about it.

The Peshawar Zalmi outfit was one of the strongest sides going into the tournament last year. However, they had a few close matches wherein they ended being on the unwanted side of the result. Despite having a balanced unit, they failed to make it to the playoffs. It was Misbah Ul Haq-led Islamabad United, who eventually won the inaugural edition of the popular T20 league.

Now, all the Afridi fans would want their side Peshawar Zalmi to put up an improved performance this year. Harbhajan Singh is certainly no exception in hoping the same.
