'We are friends and everything is still the same' - Nidhhi Agerwal clears air about unfollowing KL Rahul on social media

Not long ago, KL Rahul’s name was linked with the Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal. However, the latter had played down the possibility stating they are only friends and know each other from a very long time. Rather the speculations of them dating each other began after the couple was spotted coming out of an eatery in Bandra together in 2018.

Rather the cricketer himself also later cleared that they are only friends and the fact that they both hail from Bangalore is the reason for their good friendship. But only recently, it was reported that Nidhhi unfollowed KL Rahul on social media and the rumours fuelled again of their break up.

At the same time, the Karnataka cricketer was reported to have been in relationship with Bollywood actress and Suniel Shetty‘s daughter Athiya Shetty. It was also being speculated that this was the reason that Nidhhi unfollowed Rahul. However the former herself has cleared all the air now mentioning that she never unfollowed her cricketer friend and they are still very good friends.

Nidhhi Agerwal also praised KL Rahul for being a very good cricketer and also recited that she remembered his birthday as well. Rahul turned 28 on April 18 and was flooded with the wishes on social media. “No, I am still following him. In fact, it was his birthday yesterday or day before. I am following him, and we are friends. He is a very good cricketer. He is a Bangalore boy and I am a Bangalore girl.

I’ll always be very proud of him since I have known him for a very very long time. No, I have not unfollowed him. Everything is still the same,” Nidhhi said while speaking to Bollywood Hungama. Moreover, the actress also cleared that she is not in a relationship with anyone and is happy single at the moment.

“I am single. I don’t even know where my phone is half of the day. I am busy, watching stuff and that’s okay. I am completely single, and I am very happy,” she added. Meanwhile, KL Rahul and Athiya are reportedly dating each other since January and the latter’s recent wishes for the cricketer on his birthday almost confirmed it.
