Cricket in India doesn’t seem to be resuming any time soon given the current situation in the country. The positive cases for the Coronavirus are at its peak in the nation at the moment with more than 1.2 lakh active cases and almost 7000 people already losing their lives. With nothing much to do, India skipper Virat Kohli, on Sunday, posted a video of him running during the workout and asked the fans to caption it as well.

And it seldom happens that the Twitterverse fails to amaze with its innovative thinking. As soon as the 31-year-old took to his official Twitter handle and posted a small video, the responses flooded with the fans suggesting some hilarious captions. While some of them tried to take a dig at the ongoing pandemic and the safety guidelines issued to protect from the virus, few made a meme out trolling Virat Kohli itself over his IPL trophy drought.

He is the skipper of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the cash-rich T20 league and despite possessing the superstars of T20 cricket, the franchise’s trophy cabinet is still empty. Rather RCB had reached the final in 2016 season only to lose to the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Since then, they are yet to make it through to the playoffs and Kohli is always at the receiving end of all the criticism due to the team’s poor performance.

Virat Kohli in Mumbai during the pandemic

Meanwhile, as far as Virat Kohli’s whereabouts are concerned, he is currently in Mumbai with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The power couple has been time and again posting videos and doing its bit to create awareness about COVID-19 in the last three months. They have also donated a significant amount to the PM CARES and Maharashtra CM Relief Funds besides helping the Mumbai Police as well.

Coming back to Virat Kohli’s video for which he asked the caption, it became a meme fest on Twitter as his fans and followers came up with amazing replies.
